How
Does the Power-Save 1200™ Unit Work?
The
Power-Save 1200™ Unit increases power factor, by reducing the amount of reactive
power (Power-Save 1200™ ) that the load draws from the utility company. Power-Save 1200™ Units
store the reactive power (Power-Save 1200™ ) needed for the creation of the EMF within
the inductive load. As the motor operates, this reactive power is "pulled"
and "pushed" to and from the Power-Save 1200™ Unit by the motor. The amount
of reactive power purchased from the utility company by power factor optimization
has been greatly reduced, or eliminated.
The technology applied by the Power-Save 1200™ Unit reclaims, stores and supplies
power to inductive motors and loads. This process provides the reactive power
(Power-Save 1200™ ) required to establish the electromagnetic field (EMF) around
the inductive windings of a motor, while reclaiming and recycling the power
during the normal working phase. The power reclaimed and recycled by the Power-Save 1200™ Unit would normally be pushed back through the power distribution lines.

About Power-Save 1200™ Surge Protection?
The Power-Save 1200™ US-1 also protects the entire home against power surges. No
longer a need for so many surge protectors in the home. The US-1 provides a
broad range of protection for hard wired appliances and most home electronics
such as televisions, satellite equipment, entertainment systems, etc. The unit
protects from power line surges as well as spikes caused by internal wiring
problems, loose connections and fluctuating demand from large motors such as
appliances, vacuum cleaners, heating and cooling equipment, etc.
Is
the Power-Save 1200™ Unit Warranteed? Yes.
Warranty Start Date: "Start Date" as used in this policy means the
date this product is shipped from the manufacturing facilities of Power-Save 1200™ or
installed by a Power-Save 1200™ employee or its designee.
Power-Save 1200™ warrants that for a period of five (5) years from the Start Date,
the Power-Save 1200™ unit purchased by customer ("Unit") shall be free
of defects in material and workmanship or damage by lightning under normal authorized
use consistent with the product instructions if installed by a licensed electrician.
If this product fails due to damage by lightning, Power-Save 1200™ will replace the
unit free of charge. This product warranty extends only to the original purchaser.
In the event that Power-Save 1200™ receives notice during the warranty period that
any Unit does not conform to its warranty, Power-Save 1200™ will provide return-to-factory
repair, with a twenty (20) business day turnaround from the date of receipt
of the product at a Power-Save 1200™ Repair Center. Power-Save 1200™ , at its sole option,
will either repair or replace the nonconforming Unit. Unit replaced under the
terms of any such warranty may be refurbished or new equipment substituted at
the option of Power-Save 1200™ . Power-Save 1200™ will use commercially reasonable efforts
to ship the replacement Unit within twenty (20) business days after receipt
of the product. Actual delivery may vary depending on the location of the purchaser.
No warranty will apply if the Unit (i) has been altered, except by Power-Save 1200™ ;
(ii) has not been installed, operated, repaired, or maintained in accordance
with instructions supplied by Power-Save 1200™ in the enclosed documentation; or
(iii) has been subjected to unreasonable physical, thermal or electrical stress,
misuse, negligence, riots, civil disturbances, war, or other related acts of
God. Power-Save 1200™ warranty obligations do not include installation support.
Dead on Arrival ("DOA"): For up thirty (30) days from the Start Date,
Power-Save 1200™ will provide expedited replacement of an affected field replaceable
unit that fails to operate within twenty-four (24) hours of initial installation.
For purposes of this DOA policy, "fail to operate" shall mean a material
failure to substantially perform in accordance with the Hardware's technical
specifications and shall not include cosmetic or other deficiencies that do
not materially affect Unit performance. A new field replaceable unit will be
shipped from Power-Save 1200™ 'S manufacturing facilities within ten (10) business
days of Power-Save 1200™ 'S receipt and validation of customer's notification of
an inoperative unit. Notification must be sent by customer via online procedures
set forth below. Defective Unit must be returned within thirty (30) days of
failure, or customer pays purchase price of replacement Unit. Non-U.S. customers
should allow for additional transit time due to international customs clearance.

IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN
IF Power-Save 1200™ OR ITS AFFILIATE OR SUPPLIER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY
OF SUCH DAMAGE, AND WHETHER OR NOT ANY REMEDY PROVIDED SHOULD FAIL OF ITS ESSENTIAL
PURPOSE. THE TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO CUSTOMER, FROM ALL CAUSES OF ACTION
AND ALL THEORIES OF LIABILITY, WILL BE LIMITED TO AND WILL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE
PRICE OF THE PRODUCT PAID BY CUSTOMER.
